Introduction |
|
This hands-on course provides essential knowledge and skills for efficient and effective management of IT projects. It covers the fundamentals of contemporary IT project management from project planning, organization and execution to monitoring and controlling and concludes with best practices in project management. It consists of a combination of lectures, case analysis, group discussions and lab exercises involving MS-Project 2007. At the end of the course, students would be equipped with essential skills and know-how to manage an IT project. |

Ms Sethi, Neerja |
Neerja Sethi is currently teaching in the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She obtained M.S. (Computer Science) from SUNY, Buffalo, U.S.A. She has also obtained certifications in Java and is a Sun-certified Java Instructor. She teaches courses on Java and Web Technologies at the undergraduate level at NTU and has also conducted workshops for the industry. She has written several case studies on project management, e-commerce, and Web Services. She has more than 10 years of IT industry experience in object-oriented design, application-architecture, and project management. Her interests include e-commerce, Web Services and distributed systems. |
